From my weekly opinions column. Analyzes an e-mail released by College President Gene Nichol which some say indicated he had lied when he said he had not known about a withdrawn $12M donation. Discusses the campus reaction to the e-mail and predicts, accurately, that this e-mail will become the turning point at which Nichol's increasingly entrenched supporters among the student body and administration will wan in their support and, ultimately, lead to Nichol's firing.
