Discusses the upcoming Williamsburg, Virginia city council election, which had become the focal point of the increasingly strained relationship between the city and William and Mary. Argues that the drive to elect reform candidates (a drive led by students and progressive-minded local residents) needed to retool its approach if it was going to succeed.
